Laser-Swords & Six-Siders is Coming Soon!

Laser-Swords & Six-Siders is coming soon!

I will be running two games of Laser-Swords & Six-Siders at this year's NTRPG Convention: Wednesday evening at 6pm (5/31), and on Friday evening at 6pm (6/2). The adventure is called "Death on Planet X." All spots are full, but if you are interested, please e-mail me or stop by, as there are usually some cancellations or no-shows.

I will also be running OD&D games Thursday evening at 6pm (6/1, co-DMing the Knights N' Knaves Social with austinjimm), and Friday daytime (6/2 at noon, "To Hades and Back"), and there are still spots available for both.

(It has been a long time since I last posted here, but the work has always continued. There are several adventures and supplements in various stages of completion, some of them nearly finished. If you have any questions, please send me an e-mail rather than posting a comment, as I check my e-mails at least once a day. Thank you, and I hope to see some of you soon at this year's NTRPG Con!)

NTRPGCon 2016 Announcement

This is a reminder for those of y'all attending this year's NTRPGCon (North Texas Roleplaying Game Convention). Registration for games opens up late tomorrow night (Thursday night/Friday morning) at midnight. Some games fill up quickly, so if you snooze, you lose!

In addition to having a vendor booth, I'll be running five games this year: two new dungeons of my own design (Dungeon of Dracula and Temple of Tehemot), as well as a more chaotic version of the classic Caves of Chaos (don't worry if you've played Keep on the Borderlands before, this version will have some surprises).

Wed PM (June 1st)
The Dungeon of Dracula (1E/OSRIC dungeon crawl, levels 4-6)

Thur AM (June 2nd)
The Dungeon of Dracula (1E/OSRIC dungeon crawl, levels 4-6)

Thur PM (June 2nd)

2016 Plans

Plans are always subject to change, and life has a habit of getting in the way, but here is a list of things I hope to complete in 2016.

Higher Priority:

At least one new Swords & Six-Siders Adventures, hopefully several of a variety of levels.

At least one Swords & Six-Siders Supplement (optional races, classes, alternate leveling).

Running 2 or more Swords & Six-Siders games at this year's NTRPG Convention.

Laser-Swords & Six-Siders game - bringing the fun, simple game-play of S&SS to a more sci-fi setting. Grab your laser-sword and blaster, and board your star-fighter to battle the evil forces of the Galactic Horde! Explore the abandoned(?) temples of an ancient religion to unlock mystical powers long forgotten. Raid the hideouts of infamous Crime Lords for that special weapon you'll need to blow up the Galactic Horde's latest planet-killer.

A compatibility license for S&SS and LS&SS.

Lower Priority:

Running 1 or more "classic" RPG games at this year's NTRPG Convention.

One or more new adventures for "classic" RPGs.

Fantasy Stock Art for sale.

There's Always Next Year:

A "trollish" edition of S&SS.

A dungeon-crawl card game that plays like a boardgame (using only cards & a 6-sider).

A d12 game.

Now Taking Orders for Swords & Six-Siders!

UPDATED: 5/4/17

Swords & Six-Siders (S&SS) is the ultra rules-lite, 1d6 only, OGL fantasy RPG inspired by 0E, BX, and T&T. S&SS is great for both new RPGers and old schoolers alike who are looking to get more gaming done in less time. Don't take my word for it, download the game for free and try it for yourself!

The Swords & Six-Siders boxed set comes with a box (5&1/2"x9&1/2"x1"), a 24 page Player's Book, a 36 page Gamemaster's Book, and 6 character sheets.
$20 for a boxed set, or $30 for two boxed sets.

Additional S&SS Player's Books can be purchased for $5 each.

The Castle that Fell from the Sky is a classic fun-house tournament dungeon, combining hack-n-slash, tricks, traps, puzzles, and roleplay elements. It is designed for a party of six 3rd level characters, and to be run in a 6-9 hour game slot. The adventure comes in at 40 keyed encounters, 32 pages, plus a loose, hand-drawn map, and features numerous non-standard monsters. (See earlier posts for play reports.)
$10 each.

Shipping & Handling:
If you are ordering from the 48 contiguous United States, please add $10 for S&H ($5 if no boxed sets are included in your order). If you are ordering from outside the 48 CONUS, please e-mail me which items you want and where you are so I can calculate the price of S&H (this can take several days).

Payment:
To place an order, send payment including S&H to my company's Paypal: steve AT vanquishingleviathan.com. In your payment, please include which items you are ordering, and where you want your package shipped to.

Shipping Times:
Ideally, I strive to have packages in the mail within 2-3 business days of receiving payment, but it can sometimes take a week or more depending on sales volume and filling out forms for international shipping. Orders from the 48 CONUS are shipped in boxes via Priority Mail (EDIT: Orders that do not include boxes will be sent in Priority flat envelopes, as the small Priority boxes are just barely too small for digest-sized books).
