NTRPGCon 2016 Announcement

This is a reminder for those of y'all attending this year's NTRPGCon (North Texas Roleplaying Game Convention). Registration for games opens up late tomorrow night (Thursday night/Friday morning) at midnight. Some games fill up quickly, so if you snooze, you lose!

In addition to having a vendor booth, I'll be running five games this year: two new dungeons of my own design (Dungeon of Dracula and Temple of Tehemot), as well as a more chaotic version of the classic Caves of Chaos (don't worry if you've played Keep on the Borderlands before, this version will have some surprises).

Wed PM (June 1st)
The Dungeon of Dracula (1E/OSRIC dungeon crawl, levels 4-6)

Thur AM (June 2nd)
The Dungeon of Dracula (1E/OSRIC dungeon crawl, levels 4-6)

Thur PM (June 2nd)
The Temple of Tehemot (Swords & Six-Siders megadungeon, levels 1-3)

Sat AM (June 4th)
The Temple of Tehemot (Swords & Six-Siders megadungeon, levels 1-3)

Sat PM (June 4th)
Keep on the Borderlands' Caves of Chaos (BX, levels 1-3)

Hope to see y'all there!

  1. Great post full of useful tips! I adore what you have got right here. This is so applicable to most of the readers. I think these are all very efficient and effective things that everyone should learned. Thank you for the good tips that you have placed here. It was all useful and helpful stuffs. Thanks for sharing this magnificent info I was looking for this info for my mission.

  2. Steve, it all looks very quiet on the S&SS front. The game is my favourite not-quite-a retro clone and it seems a pity more people don't know about it. I know you put a lot of effort and care into the game so I suppose the question is: what now? Is the project over? Following that here's the biggie... Would you be open to someone else taking up the project if you are indeed unable to carry it on?

  3. Steve, we haven't heard much in over a year now, hopefully (most importantly) all is well?
I too like this game, and commented on races, monsters, supplement license, sci-fi version of S&SS, etc.
If you're not able to devote time to the game, rather than see all your hard work die, why not make it all OGC and then others can create supplements, all-in-one rulebooks, etc?
That's honestly the best way to make it thrive.

  4. There are several things in the works; I've not posted about them because I didn't want to commit to a date and then be late. The best way to ask a question is to send me an e-mail, as I check my e-mail every day. Thanks!
